Twentieth century thinking led to the the height of specialisation in all fields, medicine, technology, creativity and the infamous mind-body-spirit divide.

The wheel of progress has come full circle and the divergent nature of disciplines naturally leads us to a desire for holistic, convergent and integrative approaches.

Whilst the holistic arts fields themsleves have also led to an abundance of seemingly separate disciplines, there are clear parallels between them. Whether it's the meridians in acupuncture and reflexology, or the inner fusion of mind with body in qigong and yoga, more and more we are beginning to see how holistic fields themselves are part of a greater whole of human life sciences.

• Forum: A holisic discussion forum where you can get answers and chat with friends.
